  • Visit Wood Buffalo National Park Visitor's Information Centre (watch slideshow)
  • Visit museum
  • Prepare gear for travel using checklists

  • Double check of gear and itinerary, safety procedures, radio communication schedules, First Aid, etc.
  • Travel to first overnight location on the trail, view the aurora
